Pay Attention to Life’s Blessings



Your life will be more joyful if you are Aware of its Blessings. When you start to pay attention to these blessings, beautiful things begin to happen. Each day will be less stressful, you will have less mind struggle, you will feel more ease and flow. As you move thru your day, don’t be passive with the blessings in your life. Instead be active in receiving these blessings. Life does not have to be a struggle. Know that it won’t be a struggle because you have all these blessings in your life. Blessings can come in the form of your talents, nourishing food and drink, surprising opportunities, interactions with nature, the presence of others in your life, even your quiet mind or your meditation practice. The list is endless. Start to pay attention to these and be grateful for their presence. They will come in subtle and surprising ways. Be aware and receptive.

You can amplify your receptivity to these blessing by becoming a person who gives blessings. As you go about your day, quietly (in your heart) bless life, bless yourself, and bless others. Try a new daily practice by saying a blessing for everything and everyone in your life. Try saying a blessing before you eat or take a drink of your tea or coffee. Try blessing a person before you have a conversation or interaction. Try it with everything during your day. Also, verbally share your gratitude and appreciation with others. Saying things out loud activates it in your heart. Take this step. It’s a choice you won't regret!
