Change Is Your Friend

Our brains think of change as a threat. But change is positive and good in our lives. It might be uncomfortable or scary, but it is not unsafe. If you allow change in your life, you are allowing expansion in your life. Don’t be afraid. Actually, in the long run holding on to what is familiar and following the fear is much harder than being brave and allowing the change. Holding on to what is old and not serving us is exhausting! Change is exciting and generates positive energy. If you are unhappy with something(s) in your life, consider change. Try putting up post-it reminders that say “Change is Exciting”. And when you see these, think of all the doors that will be opening up to new possibilities and adventures. Try making a list of all the positive changes that have occurred in your life, even if they were unexpected or unwanted changes. Reflect on how these changes challenged you, but turned out to be good. Then write about your dream life. What would you love to have in your life today? Don’t think too hard about it, just write what is in your heart. Your deepest desires. Then think about what would need to change to make these come true. Now, write down all your fears. But, remember that these are just exaggerated stories. Be Brave and Open to Change, you won’t regret it!
